Rodica
Purtand cofita cu apa rece
Pe ai sai umeri albi, rotunjori,
Juna Rodica voioasa trece
Pe langa junii semanatori.
Ei cu grabire ii sar in cale,
Zicand: Rodica, floare de crin,
In plin sa-ti mearga vrerile tale,
Precum tu, draga, ne iesi cu plin!

S-ajungi mireasa, s-ajungi craiasa!
Calea sa-ti fie numai cu flori,
Si casa casa, si masa masa,
Si sanul leagan de pruncusori!

Cu grau de aur ei o presoara,
Apoi cofita intreaga-o beu.
Copila rade si-n cale-i zboara,
Scuturand graul din parul sau.
